Physical Appearance: Very tall at about 6'4 and lean. His skin is deathly white, his hair pitch black. He has used blood to dye streaks of red in his hair. His eyes are like two glittering Garnet Gems, and seem full of sorrow and hopelessness. His facial features are sharp and well-defined.

Personality: Byakko could be called schizophrenic, since he switches from sweet and gentle to cold and heartless within seconds. His "Light Side" is that of a soul tortured by his own destiny. He is a firm believer in destiny, and the fact that you can't change it. He wishes that he could be something...not as evil. His light side is a caring person desperate to be something he's not. When angered, his eyes turn black with red pupils, and he becomes vicious and cruel. He wouldn't think twice about killing an innocent person when his Dark Side is out. He smokes to releive his stress.

Traits: His best traits are his kind smile and his ability to trust others, and his sweet voice.

Flaws: His worst trait is his dark side, during which he becomes rutheless, cold, and will laugh cruelly at the sight of blood, and his smoking.


Character Background:

Byakko was born and raised in Hades. He grew up with his brother and father, after his mother died of a mysterious illness. His father was the type of demon who wanted to excel at everything he did, and he assumed that being evil was what demons were supposed to be. So he was evil, and he practiced on Byakko and his brother. The two of them grew up afraid of their father, and Byakko took that a step further. One day, as his father's hand came into contact with his face, Byakko discovered his Dark Side. His eyes had turned all black with a red slit where the pupil should have been. He doesn't remember much of that day, except for when he came back into conciousness, his brother was bleeding badly from a gash in his arm, and his father was dead on the floor. Byakko vowed to try and make himself "good" after that. He mangaed to subdue his dark side enough so that it only came when he was angered. He tried to keep his temper in check as often as possible. But after Byakko realised that his father was dead, it was too late for his brother as well. He thought he was dead, and so he ran away from his home, living in the streets. When he was 111, nearly 66 years later, he was sitting on the curb and whispering as usual, whsipering as though he was insane...when a man appraoched him and held out a hand. "Brother?" Byakko said, eyes wide in disbelief. It was indeed. Ever since that day, Byakko has tried to pull himself away from his drinking and smoking habits...although he could only knock the drinking.

Byakko sat on the curb, head resting on his knees. He was whispering a song he had once heard..."All alone he turns to stone, holding his breath half to death!" He was rocking back and forth slightly...A man stopped in front of him. "You are wasting your life." he hissed, kicking over one of the empty beer bottles next to him. He held out a hand. "Get up." he ordered. Byakko looked up, stunned at what he saw. "Brother?" he whispered, his breath catching in his throat. "Byakko?" the man said, eyes wide in disbelief...
